The 3 Dimensional Embroidered Patches are created by interlacing threads together, resulting in a heavier embroidery thread. This will make the patch feel thicker, and stand out while giving off a certain lift and make it more noticeable when attached to jackets, bags, caps and etc.
Fun fact: The art of making embroidered patches is an old tradition that was originally done by hand. All thanks to the development of high-speed, computerized machines (such as ours!), we can now mass produce any of your designs with high quality and trendy!

How can I customize my order on your website?
You only have to follow 6 easy steps to get your order customized.
1. Choose your patch backing.
2. Select patch shape.
3. Select embroidery level, 50%, 75% or 100%.
4. Select border style, Merrowed or Hot Cut.
5. Input quantity and customize your patch. You have an option to upload your artwork. Click ""Browse"", it will route you to your files to select your favorite picture or you can select ""Email my Artwork Later"" from the drop-down menu if the image is not available yet. It will let you continue with the order without an attachment. You can send the file at sales@customsocksnow.com once your artwork becomes available.
6. Select the delivery date. Then you can proceed to Add to Cart to enter your shipping information and payment method. Click submit and the confirmation email with your order number will be sent to you right away, and you're all set!

Is it OK to use copyrighted or licensed material for my patch?
We do not knowingly reproduce copyrighted material and will not accept liability for such infringement when reproducing orders. You are solely responsible for ensuring the artwork you submit does not infringe on property rights by obtaining proper permission for the reproduction of logos, trademarks and copyrighted material.
Can I return the product and get a full refund if I didn’t like the outcome?
No. This is the reason why we are sending you proofs for your approval before we start the production. Approving the proof means that you agree with the design, colors, textures, etc.
How long should I wait to get a refund?
The standard turn around time in receiving your refund is 3-5 business days. It is processed immediately but the financial institution may hold the fund for a couple of days before it's officially posted.
What happens if there is a mistake on my order?
When an error has been confirmed made by our production staff, we will process the remake exactly as how you originally requested minus any errors that we made at no extra cost.

What's the maximum colors for an embroidered patch?
Embroidered patches typically allow up to 9 colors as standard. Designs requiring more colors may be possible up to 12 colors with an additional charge. For reference, woven patches generally support up to 12 colors due to their finer thread structure.
What is the difference between embroidered and woven patches?

Are your patches washable? Are your patches durable?
Yes. Our patches are designed to be durable and washable, depending on the patch type and attachment method. Sew-on patches are generally the most long-lasting and machine washable on gentle cycles. Iron-on patches should be washed inside out in cold water to extend their lifespan. PVC and leather patches are best cleaned with a damp cloth. Proper care helps preserve color, adhesion, and overall quality.
Can I have my patches in custom shapes?
Yes. Custom-shaped patches are available and are produced using die-cut or hot-cut borders, depending on the shape and design complexity. Merrowed borders are not suitable for custom shapes due to their curved stitching limitations.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantities apply per design and per color, and they vary depending on the patch style. In most cases, minimum orders start at 10 pieces, though this may differ based on the patch type.
How thick is the merrowed border?
The standard thickness of a merrowed border is approximately 2.5–3 mm.
Do you have an option of iron on?

Can we make 1 patch per design?

Can patches be double sided?
No. All patches are produced with front-side decoration only.
Heat transfer patches can be used in hats or delicate fabrics?
We do not recommend applying heat transfer patches to delicate materials such as beanies, silk, or similar fabrics, as heat may cause damage.
Can woven labels have two colors?
Unfortunately, Woven labels can't have different colors. Both sides of a woven label must be produced in the same color.
Can Woven and Care labels be custom shaped?
Due to size and production limitations, woven and care labels are only available in rectangular or square shapes.
Do you charge for colors?
There is no additional charge for colors unless your design exceeds 12 colors, in which case an extra fee will apply.
Could you please clarify the necessity of providing a vector file, considering that the design will be embroidered rather than imprinted?
Vector files ensure clean lines and accurate details. Any blurriness in the artwork will be reflected in the embroidery, so vector files help us provide an accurate proof and ensure consistent results in mass production.
What is the difference of 75% and 100% embroidery level?
75% embroidery covers most of the patch while leaving some of the base twill visible, making it suitable for larger or simpler designs.
100% embroidery fully covers the base material and is ideal for detailed logos and intricate designs.

What is the best patch backing for a shirt?v
The most common options for shirts are plain backing (for sewing) and iron-on backing (for heat application). The best choice depends on the design and intended use.
Can I have both embroidery and woven patches for small details?
We do not offer woven patches for small details. Instead, we combine embroidery for larger areas with printed details for finer elements when needed.
Are there other color options available for TPU patches besides Gold, Silver, Glitter, Holographic, Black and White?
At this time, those are the only available TPU patch color options.
Do I need to place separate orders for different sizes of woven labels for t-shirts?
No. You can place a single order and specify the different sizes in the Additional Instruction box during checkout.
Why are the prices on the chart not the final price?

What does 'embroidery coverage' mean?

Can we combine 2 different backing? such as iron backing and pelon to make it thicker?
